French beat Czechs in Davis Cup quarters

France beat the Czech Republic 3-1 to romp into the Davis Cup semifinals on Sunday.

The third day of the quarterfinal in Trinec, North Moravia, saw French star Jo-Wilfried Tsonga beat Jiri Vesely 4-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4, 7-5.

France have nine Davis Cup titles, but they last won in 2001. They will take on the United States or Croatia in the semifinals. Endit
