FUS Rabat edged closer to qualifying for CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals, after wining against their Moroccan rivals Kawkab Marrakech on Friday.

At the Stade de Marrakech in Marrakech, former group leaders Kawkab lost 3-1 to FUS.

FUS scored in the 21st, 47th and 67th minutes, while Kawkab netted a penalty in 45th minutes.

The capital's team climbed after this win to the top of Group B standings with seven points.

Tunisian Etoile Sahel and Libyan Al Ahli Tripoli will play for the third spot tomorrow in Tunisia. Endit
