Independiente del Valle beat Boca Juniors, grab Libertadores final spot

Ecuador's Independiente del Valle secured a place in their first Copa Libertadores final with a 3-2 away victory over six-time champions Boca Juniors on Thursday.
Having won last week's semifinal first leg in Quito 2-1, Independiente came back from a goal down at the Bombonera stadium to clinch a 5-3 aggregate win.
They will now meet Atletico Nacional in the decider over two legs after the Colombian outfit overcame Sao Paulo in the other semifinal on Wednesday.
Cristian Pavon opened the scoring for Boca in the fourth minute but Luis Caicedo equalized before the half-hour mark.
Bryan Cabezas and Julio Angulo added two more for the visitors just after halftime to all but put the result beyond doubt.
Pavon again found the target in second-half injury time, but it was too late for the Argentine outfit, whose last Copa Libertadores title came in 2007. Endit
