Indian stocks closed higher Thursday tracking strong cues from European markets.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 27,942.11, 126.93 points or 0.46 percent up from previous close of 27,815.18, with a turnover of 478.67 crore rupees (about 71.5 million U.S. dollars). Endit
