Defender Lucas Digne joins Barcelona on five year deal

Xinhua, July 14, 2016 Adjust font size:

FC Barcelona on Wednesday confirmed their second signing in two days as left back Lucas Digne has joined the Spanish league champions from Paris Saint Germain.

Barca will pay 16 million euros (around 17.7 million US dollars), plus an extra 4 million euros in variables for the defender, who has agreed a five year contract.

Digne spent last season on loan with AS Roma, following French international Samuel Umtiti into the club.

He is Barca's third signing of the summer after the arrivals of Umtiti and Denis Suarez, who returned to the club after spells with Sevilla and Villarreal. Endit
