The first World Cyber Arena Championship will be held in Yinchuan, capital city of northwestern China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on July 23, organizers said Wednesday.

Professional gamers from China and South Korea will be playing the Warcraft III, a video game that is very popular among the youth in the two East Asian countries. The winner will fetch 300,000 yuan (about 44,780 US dollars) in prize money.

Yinchuan is the permanent host city for the World Cyber Arena, which was launched in 2014. Endit
