Jesus Vallejo Lazaro joins Eintracht Frankfurt for one year on loan, the Bundesliga club confirmed via the club's official homepage on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old center back reinforces the "Eagles" defence for the upcoming season after putting pen to paper on a one-year loan contract.
"With Jesus Vallejo we have loaned a young and very talented centre back, who has been signed by Real Madrid for the long term," Frankfurt's sporting director Bruno Huebner said. "This shows that Europe's top clubs highly rate the qualities of this player."
Frankfurt's new arrival started his youth career in 2007 at Spanish side Real Zaragoza before he joined record champions Real Madrid in July 2015 after signing a six-year deal. However, Zaragoza immediately loaned him back for one year.
Vallejo provided one goal in overall 51 competitive outings for Zaragoza. He played his way through Spain's national youths teams and is now part of their Under-21 team.
"I am of course very excited to get to know my new team mates and to integrate myself into the squad as soon as possible," Jesus Vallejo said. "I want to support the team as best I can."
Vallejo is after, Omar Mascarell (Real Madrid), Taleb Tawatha (Maccabi Haifa), Ante Rebic (ACF Fiorentina, loan), Danny Blum (1. FC Nuernberg) and Branimir Hrgota (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Frankfurt's sixth summer signing.
The "Eagles" open their Bundesliga season 2016-2017 against Schalke on August 27. Endit
