British FTSE 100 stays largely flat on Tuesday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Tuesday decreased by 0.03 percent, or 2.17 points, to 6,680.69 points.

Share price of International Consolidated Airlines Group increased by 5.05 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips.

Glencore, St James's Place, easyJet and Aviva increased by 4.61 percent, 4.56 percent, 4.29 percent and 4.23 percent respectively.

Mediclinic International led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 5.02 percent, following by Randgold Resources (4.30 percent), Hikma Pharmaceuticals (3.65 percent), Fresnillo (2.77 percent) and National Grid (2.24 percent). Endit
