At least 10 killed, dozens injured in S. Italy train crash

At least 10 passengers died and dozens more were injured on Tuesday in a head-on train collision near Pulia, Italy's southern region, according to ANSA news agency.

Local firefighters are working to pull passengers out of the twisted metal of the cars on each train while rescuers had got a child out and airlifted the child to hospital, Ansa reported.

There could be more fatalities, rescuers said. The incident took place on a single track between the towns of Ruvo di Puglia and Corato. Endit
