Indian stocks open higher

Indian stocks rallied in early trade Monday bolstered by election results in Japan and Australia and shrugging off concerns a strong U.S. jobs report might push the Federal Reserve closer to hiking rates.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 27,358.23, 231.33 points or 0.85 percent up from previous close of 27,126.90. Endit
