Dollar in upper 100 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo

The dollar traded in the upper 100 yen zone in early deals on Monday in Tokyo, marginally higher than levels in New York on Friday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar fetched 100.66-68 yen compared with 100.55-65 yen in New York and 100.60-62 yen on Friday at 5 p.m. in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1044 dollars and 111.17-24 yen against 1.1043-1053 dollars and 111.10-20 yen in New York and 1.1075-1077 dollars and 111.42-46 yen on Friday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
