Indian stocks close lower

Indian stock market was bruised and battered Friday as investors were cautious ahead of the U.S. jobs data due to be released later in the day.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 27,126.90, 74.59 points or 0.27 percent down from previous close of 27,201.49, with a turnover of 771.32 crore rupees (about 114.5 million U.S. dollars). Endit
