Russian snipers learn to neutralize drones

Snipers of the Russian Eastern Military District are learning how to neutralize unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV) in its updated program, the Russian news agency TASS reported Friday.

During the training, students simulate "sniper duels" and the detection and removal of small targets in the air imitating UAV.

They have also learnt the tactics of sniper action, especially reconnaissance, camouflage on a different terrain and in adverse climatic conditions, military topography and rules of medical care, the district's press head Col. Alexander Gordeev was quoted as saying.

The exercise to neutralize drones has been included in the sniper training program for the first time, he added. Endi
