Dollar hovers around 101 yen line in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 101 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, marginally lower than levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 101.10-13 yen compared with 101.25-35 yen in New York and 100.97-99 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1097-1097 dollars and 112.18-19 yen against 1.1093-1103 dollars and 112.41-51 yen in New York and 1.1064-1065 dollars and 111.71-75 yen in late trade on Wednesday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
