Urgent: Messi sentenced to 21 months in prison

Barcelona striker Lionel Messi and his father have been sentenced to 21 months in jail for tax fraud, a court in Spain said on Wednesday.

However, under Spanish law a prison sentence under two years can be served under probation.

They were also fined a total of 3.7 million euros (4.1 million US dollars). Endit
