Chinese premier urges energy conservation in public institutions

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has called for public institutions to save energy and resources.

Public institutions, government departments and agencies should continue to play a leading role in energy and resource conservation and raise public awareness of energy saving and environmental protection, Li said.

State Councilor Yang Jing said public institutions should improve energy efficiency and lower operating costs, according to a statement released Tuesday after a meeting on Monday. Endi
