Chinese president appoints new ambassadors

Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed three new ambassadors upon approval by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, according to a statement by the national legislature on Tuesday.

Yue Xiaoyong was appointed ambassador to Ireland, replacing Xu Jianguo.

Wei Jinghua was appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan, replacing Hong Jiuyin.

Jiang Jiang was appointed ambassador to Malta, replacing Cai Jinbiao. Endit
