Guangzhou Evegrande beat Shandong Luneng 2-0 in CSL

Goals from Brazilian striking duo of Alan Douglas and Paulinho helped the defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande beat Shandong Luneng 2-0 in the 15th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday.

Guangzhou Evergrande went ahead in the 33rd minute as Douglas got a precise pass from Gao Lin and kicked the ball into the net.

In the 51st minute, Li Songyi of Shandong Luneng blundered as he kicked the ball towards Paulinho who hit the post first but scored off the rebound.

Guangzhou Evergrande kept leading the CSL table after two wins in a row, while Shandong Luneng remained winless in 10 rounds to tail at the bottom with one match in hand.

In other matches, Tianjin Teda lost to Chongqing Lifan 3-2, Shanghai Greenland smashed Changchun Yatai 3-0, Shanghai SIPG beat Hebei China Fortune 2-0, and Hangzhou Greentown defeated Yanbian 4-2. Endit
