Former senior official Chen Jinhua dies at 87

Former senior political advisor Chen Jinhua died of disease in Beijing on Saturday.

Chen, 87, was vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee.

He was extolled in a government obituary as an excellent Party member, a time-tested and loyal communist soldier, and an outstanding leader in economic construction. Endit
