Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday condemned the deadly terror attack in Istanbul, describing it as "inhuman".

"The attack in Istanbul is inhuman & horrific. I condemn it strongly. My thoughts are with bereaved families. May the injured recover quickly," Modi tweeted.

Meanwhile, the Indian External Affairs Ministry has said that there has been no report so far of any Indian casualty in the terror attack which claimed the lives of 36 people.

The casualties, which include 150 injured, happened after three suicide bombers opened fire and then blew themselves up at the international terminal of Istanbul's Ataturk airport Tuesday.
