Regional network for professional services firms launched in Singapore

Xinhua, June 28, 2016 Adjust font size:

RT LLP, a Singapore-based public accounting firm, on Tuesday singed a MOU with nine other professional services firms to join the RT ASEAN Network to explore market opportunities together in Southeast Asia and beyond.

From ASEAN countries as well as China, India and Australia, the nine enterprises are in areas such as professional services, public accounting, business and corporate advisory. The MOU signing marked enhancing cooperation in such fields.

Ravi Arumugam, CEO and managing partner of RT Group, said that the potential and possibilities the region has to offer are tremendous, thus it's logical that professional service providers come together to support growth, investment and demand for services in the region.

The setup of the network has been supported from Singapore's government agencies like IE Singapore.

CEO of IE Singapore Lee Ark Boon thought the network is an example of how companies can form partnerships to globalize, as demand for professional services is growing due to rising cross-border deals in Asia.

"I hope this serves as an inspiration to ASEAN companies, to be open to collaboration opportunities to serve the market; and for Singapore companies, persistence and hard work can transform a vision to reality," said Lee. Endit
