Lebanon's bomb-hit town under fresh suicide bomb attacks

At least two explosion occurred Monday night near the municipality building of the northeastern border town of al-Qaa causing many casualties, the LBCI TV reported.

The TV station said that while the people of the town were participating in a sit-in near the municipality building and the Mar Elias church, two suicide bombers on a motorcycle drove into the crowd and threw a grenade before exploding themselves.

Georges Kettaneh, Director of Operations at the Lebanese Red Cross confirmed to the TV station that many casualties have been transported to the region hospitals.

Earlier on Monday, four suicide bombers blew themselves in al-Qaa causing the death of 5 people and wounding 15 others. Endit
