British FTSE 100 decreases 2.55 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 2.55 percent, or 156.49 points, to 5,982.20 points.

Share price of Randgold Resources increased by 9.02 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Fresnillo, AstraZeneca, Royal Dutch Shell B and Diageo increased by 7.00 percent, 2.34 percent, 2.07 percent and 1.92 percent respectively.

EasyJet led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 22.32 percent, following by Barratt Developments (19.42 pecent), Barclays (17.35 percent), Travis Perkins (16.79 percent) and International Consolidated Airlines Group (15.92 percent). Endit
