The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Monday proposed a conference with South Korea to discuss reunification of the Korean nation and peace on the Korean Peninsula.

HANOI -- Vietnam on Monday recovered two black boxes of a CASA aircraft that crashed in waters off Vietnam's northern Hai Phong City on June 16, said search and rescue forces.
Specifically, two black boxes of the missing rescue aircraft CASA were found Monday at a depth of between 50-60 meters in waters around Hai Phong's Bach Long Vi Island.
In addition, two more bodies, identified as crew members of the crashed aircraft, were also found at the searching area on the same day, Vietnam's state-run news agency VNA quoted the forces as saying. (Vietnam-Plane)

ANKARA -- Turkey and Israel have reached a deal to normalize ties and the two countries will exchange ambassadors, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said on Monday, after a six-year diplomatic rift.
