Xinhua, June 27, 2016 Adjust font size:

Chile lifted their second straight Copa America trophy after winning the penalty shootout against Argentina in the final on Sunday.

Neither team could find a way to score a goal in both regular and extra time and drag the final into the penalty shootout.

Chile's Arturo Vidal missed the opening shot but Lionel Messi also failed to score before Lucas Biglia's shot was stopped by Chile goalie Claudio Bravo.

Chile won the penalty shootout 4-2. Endit
