CPC official holds talks with Cuban envoy

A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held talks with a visiting special envoy from the Cuban Communist Party (CCP) on Sunday.

Song Tao, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held talks with Ramiro Valdes Menendez, special envoy of the First Secretary of the CCP Raul Castro.

Valdes is also the CCP's central committee political bureau member and vice president of the council of state.

Both sides agreed to strengthen ties between two parties, implement the guiding function of inter-party relations between two countries, boost pragmatic cooperation in various fields, and benefit both peoples. Endi
