Chinese President Xi Jinping's just-concluded three-nation Eurasia tour gained new momentum for the Belt and Road Initiative and boosted the development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

MOGADISHU -- Twin car bomb explosions rocked a hotel in the center of the Somali capital Mogadishu on Saturday, followed by ongoing gunfire.
Mohamed Nor, a police officer at the scene, told Xinhua the first explosion went off at the entrance of the Nasa-Hablod Hotel, followed minutes later by a second blast near the hotel. (Somalia-Al-Shabaab)

BERLIN -- After Britain voted to leave the European Union (EU) in a historic referendum, foreign ministers from six founding countries of EU met here on Saturday, pushing for a speedy exit procedure of Britain.

SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir -- At least five paramilitary troopers of India's Central Reserve Police (CRPF) were killed and 21 others wounded Saturday after militants attacked their bus in the restive Indian-controlled Kashmir, police said.
