Shaqiri scores late to take Switzerland into extra time against Poland

Xherdan Shaqiri scored a late equalizer to take Switzerland's Euro 2016 round of 16 match against Poland into the extra time here on Saturday.

The 24-year-old player's overhead kick from 18 meters flied home off the inside of the post in the 82nd minute.

Poland had taken the lead after 39 minutes, with winger Jakub Blaszczykowski slid the ball past Swiss keeper Yann Sommer. Endit
