Chinese vice premier meets foreign delegates to first BRICS SAIs leaders meeting

Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli on Friday met with foreign representatives who were here to attend the first BRICS SAIs leaders meeting in Beijing.

The foreign representatives include Shashi Kant Sharma, comptroller and auditor general of India; Aroldo Cedraz de Oliveira, president of Brazil's Court of Accounts; Thembekile Kimi Makwetu, auditor-general of South Africa and Tatyana Manuylova, auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation.

Calling BRICS an important platform for emerging countries and developing countries, Zhang said China is willing to work with the rest four countries to promote the reform of international economic governance so as to make it more conducive to BRICS countries.

He called for more exchanges between China's National Audit Office and the top auditing administrations of BRICS countries. Endi
