LME base metals mostly increase on Monday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) mostly closed higher on Monday.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 77.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.70 percent, to 4,643.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 28.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.77 percent, to 1,636 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased 3 U.S. dollars, or 0.17 percent, to 1,720 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 19 U.S. dollars, or 0.95 percent, to 2,013 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 225 U.S. dollars, or 2.50 percent, to 9,237.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 137.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.80 percent, to 17,022.5 U.S. dollars a tonne. Enditem
