(Sports) Vietnam's national badminton tournament draws 162 athletes

Vietnam's National Badminton Tournament 2016 kicked off Monday night in Vietnam's northern Thai Nguyen province, drawing the participation of 162 athletes nationwide.

The athletes are from 22 delegations across the country, including 104 male and 58 female athletes, reported Vietnam's state-run news agency.

The tournament features single men's and single women's categories at age level of under 16, between 17 and 18, as well as mixed double.

The tournament is scheduled to last till Sunday. Endit
