Dollar moves in upper-104 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper-104 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday morning, rising from levels logged at the end of last week in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 104.66-67 yen compared with 104.05-15 yen in New York and 104.24-26 yen in Tokyo on Friday at 5 p.m.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1350-1351 dollars and 118.75-77 yen against 1.1273-1283 dollars and 117.33-43 yen in New York and 1.1247-1249 dollars and 117.24-28 yen in late afternoon trade on Friday. Endit
