Albanian customs to introduce "blue channel" for importers with clean records

The customs administration of Albania will soon launch a program to establish a "Blue Channel" for all importers with a clean record in customs declaration, the Albanian Daily News newspaper reported on Friday.

The program is aimed at guaranteeing businesses a simple, quick and efficient process of customs clearance.

In the process of implementation of the program, compliance will be ensured with the principles of risk management.

When the program is implemented, the electronic system at the Customs will over three channels in terms of the customs procedures. The yellow channel ensures control based on documents and the red channel based on physical control. Endi
