1st LD: IS leader al-Baghdadi wounded in recent anti-terror campaign -- report

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of the Islamic State (IS), was wounded in a recent anti-terror campaign, the RIA Novosti news agency reported Friday, citing Syria's ambassador to Moscow.

"There is no exact information with regard to his (al-Baghdadi) death, but I do know for sure that he was wounded," ambassador Riyad Haddad was quoted as saying without elaboration.
