China's power use up 2.1 pct in May

China's electricity consumption rose 2.1 percent year on year in May, reaching 473 billion kilowatt hours (kwh), data from the National Energy Administration showed on Wednesday.

In the first five months, power consumption rose 2.7 percent from a year earlier to 2.28 trillion kwh. Endi
