German police ask for videos of football hooligans' violence in France

Xinhua, June 14, 2016 Adjust font size:

German police on Tuesday asked people to come forward with videos of a violent clash involving German football hooligans in France.

Supporters of German football team clashed with Ukrainian fans on Sunday ahead of Germany's first match of the UEFA EURO 2016 in the northern French city of Lille. Two people were injured.

Germany's Federal Criminal Police Office(BKA), which coordinates criminal investigations against German suspects involved in sports events abroad, asked witnesses to submit video recordings via its website.

The BKA said witnesses can submit recordings anonymously, and the portal will remain open for all future Germany games at the tournament. Endit
