French FM set to visit Myanmar this week

French Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development, Jean-Marc Ayrault, will pay a three-day visit to Myanmar from Friday to Sunday, according to the French Embassy in Yangon Tuesday.

The French foreign minister will meet with Myanmar President U Htin Kyaw and his Myanmar counterpart Aung San Suu Kyi in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

He will also meet with Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on the same day.

France stood as the 12th largest investor in Myanmar's foreign investment line-up with 541.610 million U.S. dollars in the last fiscal year 2015-2016. Endit
