Top news items in major S. African media outlets

The following are news highlights in South Africa's major media outlets on Tuesday.
-- Monday's global stock market rout, which saw the MSCI World Index lose 1.6 percent and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) all share index 1.25 percent, looked set to continue on Tuesday.
Ahead of the JSE's opening on Tuesday morning, Tokyo's Topix index fell 1.3 percent and the Nikkei 225 was down 1.5 percent. (Business Day)
-- South Africa is prepared to host the world's top scientists, civil society members and policymakers when the Aids 2016 Conference convenes in Durban in July, Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe said.
Radebe was on Monday addressing media on the preparedness of the city ahead of the conference that will be held from July 18 to 22. (News24)
