Spanish stock market falls 2.20 pct, closes at 8,303 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 2.20 percent on Monday to close at 8,303.80 points, down from the 8,490.50 points of Friday.

On Monday session Sacyr shares led falls losing 6.75 percent, followed by Banco Popular, ArcelorMittal, BBVA, Banco Santander and Tecnicas Reunidas that lost 4.23 percent, 3.82 percent, 3.50 percent, 3.50 percent and 3.20 percent respectively.

FCC shares also fell losing 0.05 percent, as well as DIA, Endesa, R.E.C., Amadeus and Mapfre that lost 0.94 percent, 1.13 percent, 1.25 percent, 1.30 percent and 1.32 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 147.90 points, climbing from the 141.30 points of Friday closing time, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.5 percent, also rising from the 1.43 percent of Friday. Endit
