Chinese shares slump Monday

Chinese stocks slumped on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 3.21 percent, at 2,833.07 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index closed 4.4 percent lower at 9,862.58 points. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 6.03 percent to close at 2,054.71 points. Endi
