U.S. dollar in mid-106 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-106 yen zone early Monday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 106.50-51 yen compared with 106.91-107.01 yen in New York and 106.84-86 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.1237-1239 dollars and 119.69-71 yen against 1.1251-1261 dollars and 120.29-39 yen in New York and 1.1315-1317 dollars and 120.89-93 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Enditem
