Wales beats Slovakia 2-1 in EURO 2016

Freshman Wales beat Slovakia 2-1 through Gareth Bale and Hal Robson-Kanu' s shots in the UEFA EURO 2016 Group B here on Saturday.

History is on Slovakia's side as they have won seven of 14 previous meetings between the two sides, Wales winning four, and three ending in a draw.

Bale broke the deadlock through a free-kick in the 9th minute,which was the first goal of Wales in the history of UEFA EURO.

Ondrej Duda, attacking midfielder of Slovakia, equalized in the 60th minute after coming on just some seconds.

Substitute Robson-Kanu scored a delightful goal in the 80th minute from Ramsey' s pass, and sealed a 2-1 victory for Wales.

Slovakia made its EURO debut as an independent nation and Wales took its first EURO finals steps, therefore, every score of both sides would create history. Endit
