Two Brazilian international strikers Ramires and Jo helped the visiting Jiangsu Suning stun Shanghai SIPG 2-1 in the 12th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.

Ramires broke the ice in the 20th minute as he got Teixeira's passing from the edge of the penalty area and kicked the ball into the net.

A terrible accident happened as Elkeson's overhead scissors shot accidentally kicked Wu Xi in the head, and Wu Xi was substituted by Li Zhichao.

Gyan's cracking volley at the 60th minute helped the host Shanghai SIPG equalize the score. Four minutes later, Yu Hai committed a foul by tackling down Teixeira, which resulted in a penalty. Jo scored the penalty and helped Jiangsu Suning settle the score.

Tianjin Teda edged the 2016 CSL debutant Yanbian 1-0 as the substitue Fan Baiqun's shot in the 89th minute hit Yanbian defender Nikola Petkovic's leg and rolled into the net.

In other matches, the defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande tied Shijiangzhuang Ever Bright 0-0 at home, Guangzhou Fuli beat Hangzhou Greentown 1-0, and Henan Jianye tied Shanghai Greenland 1-1.

The other two matches of the 12th round will kick off on Sunday. Endit
