Apple opens 3rd store in Tianjin

Apple on Saturday opened a third store in north China's Tianjin Municipality, nearly three months after its second.

This year, Apple has opened eleven new stores in China. The new Tianjin outlet is the 39th in the Greater China region.

Hundreds of Apple fans queued at the new store at Tianjin Galaxy Mall before the store opened at 10 a.m.

Staff will provide lectures, musical performances and developer speeches, besides regular Apple services.

Apple is speeding up expansion in China with a target of 40 stores in the Greater China region in the middle of this year. Endi
