Pescara seals Italy's Serie A promotion

Pescara secured its return to Italy's Serie A after beating Trapani 3-1 in the Serie B play-off final on Thursday.

The side will join Crotone and Cagliari in the Italian top flight next season.

Pescara is currently coached by Massimo Oddo. As a player, he was part of the Italian squad that won the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

Frosinone, Carpi and Verona were relegated from Serie A. Endit
