British FTSE 100 decreases 1.10 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 1.10 percent, or 69.63 points, to 6,231.89 points.

Antofagasta led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 6.27 percent, followed by Glencore (5.32 percent), Vodafone Group (4.91 percent), BHP Billiton (4.54 percent) and Anglo American (4.52 percent).

Share price of Sky increased by 2.85 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Carnival, Randgold Resources, Fresnillo and Marks & Spencer Group increased by 1.76 percent, 1.38 percent, 1.17 percent and 1.01 percent respectively. Enditem
