Indian stocks close lower

Indian stocks came under a bout of selling pressure on Thursday, as investors chose to book profit amid valuation concerns.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 26,763.46, 257.20 points or 0.95 percent down from previous close of 27,020.66, with a turnover of 495.03 crore rupees (about 74.3 million US dollars). Endit
