Morocco urges coordinated efforts to fight terrorism

Xinhua, June 8, 2016 Adjust font size:

Morocco strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a police bus in Istanbul, urging coordinated efforts internationally and regionally to fight terrorism, its foreign ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

Morocco underlines the need to "coordinate efforts internationally and regionally to face the threat of extremist groups seeking to sow discord, chaos and violence across the world," said the statement.

The North African Kingdom also voiced its full solidarity with Turkey over this inhumane criminal act.

The country also reiterates its support for measures taken by the Turkish authorities to ensure security and protect citizens. Endit
