Dortmund scoop up talent Emre Mor from Nordsjaelland

Borussia Dortmund have signed youngster Emre Mor from Danish outfit Nordsjaelland, the Bundesliga side announced in an official statement via the club' s official homepage on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old offensive midfielder agreed on a transfer to the eighth-time German champions after inking a five-year deal, which keeps him in Dortmund until June 2021.

"Emre Mor is a highly gifted and versatile young player with huge development potential," Dortmund' s sporting director Michal Zorc said.

Mor played since summer 2015 for Danish top-flight team FC Nordsjaelland where he provided two goals and two assists in 13 outings.

Dortmund' s new arrival represented Denmark during his youth before he decided to play for his parents' homeland Turkey. He made his international senior debut in Turkey' s 1-0 win over Slovenia in March 2016.

"Dortmund is a great club in Europe and has unique fans. I am looking forward to my new teammate. I can hardly wait to make my first game for the BVB," Mor said.

The "Black and Yellows" completed the last season on the second place of the Bundesliga standings. As a result, they secured a spot for UEFA Champions League' s group stage. Endit
