Phu Quoc International Marathon will be held on June 11 on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam' s southern Kien Giang province, its organizer announced Tuesday.

This race has been tagged the "Run in Paradise" , a course between beautiful national parks and views of the ocean.

A trophy will be given to the top 3 finishers in each category for the 42km, 21km and the 10km challenge. All 42km, 21km and 10 and 5km participants finishing within the time limit will receive the official finishers medal.

"The Phu Quoc Marathon will be an historic event for Phu Quoc as it is the first international full marathon running event on the island," said the race organizer Sporting Republic, a sports management agency based in Hong Kong, China. Endit
